12-YEAR-OLD JERMAINE, GAVE AN INSPIRING KEYNOTE SPEECH AT THE MOONSHOT PIRATES BOOTCAMP.
At a young age, Jermaine had a strong love for computers and how it functions. This enabled him to spend most of his time working with computers because he believes technology is now shaping the world. During the pandemic, he built a COVID-19 app which allowed one to see the statistics of people in the phases of the virus.
Jermaine enrolled with Codetrain at age 10. He is the youngest person to complete Codetrain’s 12-month training programme and has skills in web development, database and SQL, data structures and algorithms, among others. Although he faced challenges along the way, he never rested on his oars. Interestingly, Jermaine has started a successful career with a software consulting company in Ghana.
Moonshot Pirate helps young minds acquire necessary skills, build a successful future and become change-makers of tomorrow. They have developed more than 5000 young pirates who have advanced their creative and entrepreneurial skills and have created innovative solutions for global challenges.
